Art Deco White Gold Floral Band

A 14K white gold Art Deco wedding band decorated with pairs of orange blossoms separated by engraved horizontal lines; the sides of the band are engraved with a stylized wheat motif. Circa 1930.
Both orange blossoms and sheaves of wheat were motifs used prodigiously on wedding rings and bands during the Art Deco period. Orange blossoms were used as a symbol of marriage and fruitfulness, while sheaves of wheat represented prosperity.
