Early Victorian Diamond Cluster Drop Earrings

A pair of early Victorian diamond drop earrings, comprised of a pear-shaped cluster suspended beneath a circular cluster, set in sterling silver-topped 14K rose gold. Circa 1850.
At this time, platinum and white gold were not yet in use, and sterling silver was the white metal of choice to be used with diamonds.
Earrings contain 3.12 total carats of diamonds.
