A sterling silver estate Torun for Georg Jensen bracelet featuring a large, smooth oval plaque that is hinged on one side and hooks into the body of the bracelet on the other. Danish, circa 1970.
Torun is a Swedish silversmith who produced work for Georg Jensen since 1967 and she is the first female silversmith to gain international recognition. Both Georg Jensen in Copenhagen and the Musee des Arts Décoratifs in the Louvre have hosted retrospectives of Torun's work.
